Zusammenfassung

The U.S. Mission in Germany is seeking a Foreign Service National Investigator (FSN-I) in Frankfurt to plan, initiate, and coordinate criminal investigations across DHS/HSI priorities. The incumbent will develop information leading to U.S.

cases and provide investigative assistance on customs, immigration, and related matters. Fluent in English and German, with a valid German/EU Class B driver's license. Occasional travel within Germany and to the United States or other countries is required.

Qualifikationen

Summary

The work schedule for this position is:

  • Full Time (40 hours per week)

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Supervisory Position: No. Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No. Travel Required: Occasional Travel. Regular travel within Germany will be required as well as travel to the United States or other foreign countries as directed by the agency.

The incumbent will serve as the Foreign Service National Investigator (FSN-I) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Frankfurt office. As such, he/she will plan, initiate, conduct and coordinate inquiries and criminal investigations across the entire broad spectrum of HSI priorities - including matters related to both customs and immigration violations. Develops information leading to cases in the United States and provides investigative assistance on customs and related matters, counter-terrorism investigations, criminal investigations, data analysis, liaison activities and training. The incumbent serves as subject matter expert and advisor to the HSI Attaché Office on German law and criminal procedures. He/she is responsible for developing, fostering and maintaining continued executive level contacts with US/German law enforcement organizations, governmental agencies/organizations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector.
