Your Role

As a Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions to safeguard company assets, with a focus on protecting customer data and ensuring infrastructure resilience. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to embed security best practices into their workflows, enabling informed decision-making that balances risk, efficiency, and business objectives. You will also develop incident detection and response capabilities and lead security awareness training initiatives to foster a security-conscious culture across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain solutions to protect cloud assets and improve visibility (security lake, detection writing, etc.).
  • Support Incident Response activities with your expertise.
  • Develop and maintain BC/DR measures and plans for internal services.
  • Implement, improve, and maintain access control solutions for our SaaS tools.
  • Advise and collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into their operations.
  • Enhance SDLC processes with cybersecurity considerations.
  • Conduct Security Awareness Training sessions for engineers (Threat Modelling, CI/CD best practices, etc.).
Your Profile
  • Engineering or IT background with a strong interest in security.
  • Profound knowledge of data and cloud security (AWS or GCP).
  • Experience with modern security data engineering practices (security data lakes, detection engineering).
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance practices, or Data Privacy regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in Incident Response and Threat Modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python or Go.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and challenging processes to balance speed, efficiency, and security.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive organizational change.
  • Fluent in English.

Salary range: €55,000 - €81,000 annually, plus VSOP. Factors influencing pay include experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, education, seniority, and performance. Compensation will be determined during the interview process. This range reflects our current fair estimate and may change in the future.
