I have partnered with a leading IT company in the world, working with a client based in Germany, for a Security & Trust Engineer opportunity.

This is an excellent remote opportunity for an initial 6 to 12-month contract, offering a competitive daily rate.

Mandatory Skillset :

CSPR, GCP Security, DevSecOps

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience with DevSecOps methodologies and security integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with GCP security services including IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, KMS, Security Command Center.
• Strong understanding of network security principles (firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, DNS) on GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation and security tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
• Solid knowledge of security monitoring, logging, and alerting concepts.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10).

Good to have Skills :

• Experience with SIEM / SOAR platforms (e.g., Chronicle, Splunk, Sentinel).
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes / GKE) and service mesh security (e.g., Istio).
• Knowledge of advanced threat detection techniques, including behavioral analytics and machine learning.
• Familiarity with compliance automation tools and security scorecards.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries.
• Understanding of incident response and forensic analysis in cloud environments.
