Role Overview :

As the Director of Security Architecture and Engineering, you will shape and execute our enterprise-wide security strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our security architecture and engineering practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Sub-functions responsible for :

• Security Architecture
• Security Engineering
• Identity and Access Management

Responsibilities :

• Security Architecture Leadership : Develop and maintain the company's security architecture framework, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Engineering Oversight : Lead a team of security engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls.
• Threat Intelligence : Stay updated on cyber threats and vulnerabilities, integrating threat intelligence into security strategies.
• Security Technology Roadmap : Establish and manage the security technology roadmap, promoting adoption of emerging security technologies.
• Collaboration : Build relationships with senior stakeholders to align security initiatives with business strategies.
• Team Development : Recruit, train, and manage a cybersecurity team, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.
• Budget & Vendor Management : Oversee security budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications :

Skills & Experience :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
• Proven leadership in security architecture and engineering roles.
• Deep knowledge of security principles and technologies.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards.
• Certifications like SABSA, CISSP are desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
