ZEISS in Germany is seeking an experienced metrology specialist to design ultra-precision measurement solutions for next-generation lithography optics. You will work in an interdisciplinary team, coordinating development activities with internal and external partners and translating complex measurements into actionable requirements.

• Design and develop ultra-precision metrology solutions for the next generations of high-performance lithography optics.
• Coordinate, manage and implement development activities with internal and external partners in an interdisciplinary team.
• Specify new measurement systems, derive subsystem requirements, and quantify accuracy through metrological evaluation.
• Model measurement processes in simulation environments, evaluate results and compare with measurements.
• Develop, implement and test calibration, correction and image-processing algorithms.
• Take technical responsibility for metrology projects and present work and results to stakeholders.

Your Role

• You will design and develop ultra-precision metrology solutions for the next generations of high-performance lithography optics in an exciting working environment
• You will work in an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified experts, coordinating, managing and implementing development activities with internal and external partners
• You will specify new measurement systems, derive requirements for subsystems and components, estimate accuracy levels and quantify them through metrological evaluation
• You will model measurement processes in purpose-built simulation environments, evaluate the results and compare them with dedicated measurements
• You will develop, implement and test novel calibration, correction and image-processing algorithms
• You will take technical responsibility for innovative metrology projects and independently present your work and results
