1. Project description
The service is requested as part of defined scientific communication and media projects in connection with the open innovation portal of the customer. The purpose of the project is to independently manage defined external (and potentially internal) digital communication for this specific project with the goal to achieve relevant awareness of and engagement with them.
2. Task Description
- Management of profile and social media contents development for defined projects
Management of specific projects from the M2O, Collaboration (M4C, techMATCH), and talents pillars. This includes creating and managing scientific profiles on the web and generating relevant scientific content for digital communication via organic and paid media. It involves obtaining publication releases, regulatory/legal reviews, quality control, and timely project releases aligned with communication activities. - Online seminar planning
Planning online seminars with external and internal speakers and stakeholders. This includes setting up the seminar platform with an external IT agency, managing online registration, implementing digital communication strategies before, during, and after the event, and documenting the campaign in presentations for the communication team. - Managing scientific abstract compilations and submissions
Creating booth layouts, developing marketing collaterals such as flyers and brochures, preparing presentations, and managing compliance and publication reviews according to local regulations. - Defined testimonial creation / use cases
Managing testimonials and use cases from external scientists, including content generation, translation, consent management, and publication release, to support dissemination across various channels. - Market research analysis
Planning and executing research to assess impact on reputation and talent attraction, with results presented to senior management for strategic decisions. - Flanking activities for social media
Managing content creation, promoting posts, proposing new ideas, overseeing approval processes, ensuring targeted paid social media campaigns, and reporting on digital impact. Act as the contact for LinkedIn account management. - Photography planning
Organizing photo sessions with scientists and photographers, ensuring GDPR compliance. - Adobe Analysis tracking
Planning and implementing tracking links, analyzing data to generate insights, and presenting findings to the communication team. - Additional responsibilities
Following up on evaluation reviews, crafting decline messages, and managing external communication requests efficiently.
3. Requirements:
- Degree in natural or life sciences, or a Master in communication with strong understanding of molecular biology.
- Proven experience in communicating complex life sciences topics effectively, especially in social media and digital outlets.
- Creative with excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to dynamic environments and diverse personalities.
- Strong project management skills, familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Deep knowledge of scientific writing, market research, and modern communication methods.
- Competency in using LLM or ChatGPT-like programs.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
