An established research institution is seeking a Science Communication and Public Outreach Officer to enhance its public engagement efforts. This role involves developing accessible summaries of scientific research, managing online communication, and organizing outreach events to connect with the community. The Leibniz Institute of Virology (LIV) is an independent research institution for basic biomedical research. As a foundation under civil law and member of the Leibniz Association, the Institute holds a leading position both nationally and internationally. The LIV is located on the research campus in Hamburg-Eppendorf, in close proximity to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), and at the Centre for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) on the Hamburg-Bahrenfeld research campus.
We are seeking to fill the following position as soon as possible, either full-time or part-time (up to 80% working hours):

This position is initially limited to two years, with the option of becoming permanent.
