Overview

We are looking for a dedicated individual to support a first-grade student with learning difficulties. The role involves accompanying the student to school, supporting during lessons, and fostering independence and integration within the class. This position offers a friendly and dynamic environment at Fritz-Felsenstein-Haus, with flexible hours and benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and support a first-grade student with learning difficulties.
2. Assist the student in the morning commute from Gessertshausen using public transport, and accompany them on the way back home.
3. Support the student during lessons, breaks, and school activities.
4. Promote the child's independence and help integrate them into the classroom community.
5. Collaborate with teachers and colleagues constructively.
6. Handle documentation and participate in team meetings at Fritz-Felsenstein-Haus.

Qualifications

• Ideally, have a recognized qualification such as Kinderpfleger (m/w/d) or Heilerziehungspflegehelfer (m/w/d), or comparable experience in the pedagogical field.
• Willingness to learn about and support students with disabilities.
• Enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, friendliness, and respect.
• Ability to empathize and support the child according to their needs.
• Willingness to adapt to the structures of a Montessori school.
• Proficiency in German, spoken and written.
