AIT Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Conduct tests at unit, subsystem, and satellite level:
- Type of tests: Electrical interface unit tests, functional tests, subsystem tests, and system tests
- Subsystems include: On Board Computer, Attitude and Orbit Control System, Propulsion, Payload, Thermal Control System, Power, Security System, TT&R
- Constant monitoring of satellite health
- Writing and maintaining test procedures and hardware work instructions
- Scripting and maintaining test sequences
- Preparation of test reports with evaluation of test data
- Preparation and participation in test reviews (TRR, PTR, TRB) either internal or external with customer presence
- Finding, analyzing, and solving non-conformance of the satellite in close collaboration with subsystem responsible
- Preparation of test setups: Satellite connections (Non-Flight) EGSE connections, SAAPs connections
- Participation in Environmental test campaigns and Launch campaigns
Your Qualifications
- Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
- Experience in testing at unit, subsystem, or satellite level, at use of EGSE, or at the use of electrical measurement tools
- Experience in Tcl/Tk or Python or with CCS system is a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and apply technical manuals, data reports, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics, and design specifications
- Well-developed communication skills in teamwork
- Use of Microsoft Office
- Sense of responsibility and an effective way of working
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel
