• Abschluss in Ingenieurwissenschaften oder Physik erforderlich.
• Berufserfahrung in Satellitenprojekten, vorzugsweise in Phasen B/C/D.

Satellite Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Main Responsibilities

• Manage spacecraft launcher interfaces
• Coordinate exchange with launch service providers

Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers

• Technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
• Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
• Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
• Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
• Support the generation of the AIT plans and operation plans
• Coordinate spacecraft validation and verification on system level
• Maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
• Define Test Specifications for System Level Tests and Verification
• Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review of test results
• Preparation for launch and flight phases
• Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature

Your Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
• Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases B/C/D
• Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
• Self-managed and pro-active working style
• Ability to work with and implement processes
• Ability to work in a team
• Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
