SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant fully remote in Germany

Tasks

Integrated into the Application Services department and under the supervision of a Cluster Lead, the overall responsibility of an SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant is to support their outsourced clients as follows:

1. Gather requirements from customers.
2. Lead the payroll project implementation through the different phases.
3. Provide application support and implementation consultancy, including advice, guidance, and technical activities.
4. Create easy-to-maintain, error-free implementations and customizations, respecting company best practices.
5. Operate system tests using provided or self-generated data to ensure applications meet specifications.
6. Provide technical and functional documentation on work packages.
7. Manage daily priorities and support project deadlines.
8. Report regularly on status and progress to the team/project manager.
9. Maintain internal and external communication channels appropriately.
10. Communicate status, resolutions, and root causes of issues.
11. Understand HR flows and SAP HR architecture.
12. Ensure project timelines are respected and work packages are delivered properly.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree with a business or technical focus, or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in SAP HCM application implementation.
3. Participation in 3 German project rollouts.
4. Strong interest in delivering high-quality HR support and implementation.
5. Service-oriented with a strong client focus and sense of accountability.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
8. German payroll knowledge.
