SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant, Fully remote in Germany

Responsibilities

Integrated into the Application Services department and under the supervision of a Cluster Lead, the overall responsibility of an SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant is to support their outsourced clients as follows :

• Engage with customers to gather requirements
• Lead the Payroll project implementation through different project phases
• Provide application support and consultancy via advice, guidance, and technical activities
• Create easy-to-maintain, error-free implementations and customizations following company best practices
• Operate system tests with provided or self-generated data to ensure applications meet specifications
• Document work packages technically and functionally
• Manage daily priorities and support project deadlines
• Report regularly on status and progress to team or project manager
• Maintain effective communication channels internally and externally
• Communicate issue status, resolutions, and root causes
• Understand HR flows and SAP HR architecture
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned work packages

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent
• Experience in SAP HCM application implementation
• Participation in 3+ German SAP project rollouts
• Strong interest in HR support and implementation
• Service-oriented with a client focus and accountability
• Commitment to customers, team, and project success
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
