8 Month Contract –SAP Payroll Consultant | Remote | Up to €1050 per day - Austrian Payroll

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a global IT consultancy that specialises in HR and Payroll solutions. They’re looking for an experienced Payroll Consultant with SAP HCM expertise to join them on a remote, full-time contract for an exciting 8-month project. The project is for an Austrian client so in depth knowledge of Austrian Payroll legislations is needed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead client workshops and gather payroll requirements
• Configure and validate payroll systems with legal compliance
• Drive data mapping, migration, and system readiness
• Manage testing phases : SIT, UAT, E2E, and parallel runs
• Resolve system and integration issues with global teams
• Oversee go-live and post-go-live activities
• Document processes and support knowledge transfer
• Ensure deadlines are met and report progress to project managers

What We’re Looking For :

3+ successful SAP HCM project rollouts

Strong understanding of Austrian payroll legislation

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field

Excellent communication in German and English

A proactive, client-focused mindset with strong collaboration skills
