About the Role

We're looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a strong focus on the PY (Payroll) module to join our agile HCM product team. You'll help shape the future of HCM systems as we modernize our on-premise landscape and move toward a SAP S / 4HANA and HANA-based infrastructure (H4S4).

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of SAP HCM PY systems in a large-scale enterprise setting
• Ensure smooth monthly payroll processes for a workforce of over 380,000
• Optimize and migrate existing SAP HCM applications to SAP S / 4HANA
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team with flat hierarchies and agile methodologies
• Participate in regular training programs, SAP Development Days, and learning sessions via SAP Learning Hub

What You Bring

Several years of experience in ABAP / ABAP OO programming, ideally within SAP HCM PY

Familiarity with SAP HANA optimization and code adjustments

Experience with interface programming (IDOC, REST, batch input)

Strong German skills (C1+) and good English skills

A proactive mindset, curiosity for lifelong learning, and a collaborative spirit

A degree in (Business) Informatics or completed training as an IT specialist (or comparable qualification)
