Job summary

Westernacher Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to shape end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions and guide architecture decisions. You will translate business goals into scalable SAP implementations and work across Finance and Controlling domains.

In this role you will own critical design decisions, advise senior stakeholders, and support pre-sales with solution design and estimations. Fluency in English and German is desired, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of SAP consulting and solution architecture experience.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Proven record leading complex SAP S/4HANA transformations and at least four full-cycle implementations.
• Strong communication skills in English and German; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to join Westernacher Consulting. In this role, you will shape end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, guide architecture decisions, and help customers translate their business and transformation goals into scalable SAP solutions.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, translating complex business requirements into scalable, integrated solution architectures across Finance and Controlling.
• Own key solution architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices, integration requirements, and customers’ long-term SAP roadmaps.
• Advise senior customer stakeholders on solution options, process improvements, architecture trade-offs, and transformation decisions.
• Guide functional and technical teams across workstreams, ensuring solution quality and consistency throughout implementation.
• Support pre-sales and business development through solution design, estimations, and customer presentations.

Your Expertise

• 9+ years of relevant SAP consulting and solution architecture experience, with strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling.
• Proven experience leading complex SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects, including at least four full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, with strong solution design and configuration experience across integrated, end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in English and German, with willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
