Job summary

Westernacher Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to shape end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions and lead architecture decisions. You will guide teams across workstreams and support pre-sales with solution design and estimations.

Ideal candidates have 9+ years in SAP consulting and solution architecture, deep FI/CO expertise, and strong English and German communication skills. Travel may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of SAP consulting and solution architecture experience.
• Led complex SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects (4+ full cycles).
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO with end-to-end solution design and configuration.
• Fluent in English and German; willing to travel as required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to join Westernacher Consulting. In this role, you will shape end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, guide architecture decisions, and help customers translate their business and transformation goals into scalable SAP solutions.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, translating complex business requirements into scalable, integrated solution architectures across Finance and Controlling.
• Own key solution architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices, integration requirements, and customers' long-term SAP roadmaps.
• Advise senior customer stakeholders on solution options, process improvements, architecture trade-offs, and transformation decisions.
• Guide functional and technical teams across workstreams, ensuring solution quality and consistency throughout implementation.
• Support pre-sales and business development through solution design, estimations, and customer presentations.

Your Expertise

• 9+ years of relevant SAP consulting and solution architecture experience, with strong expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling.
• Proven experience leading complex SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects, including at least four full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, with strong solution design and configuration experience across integrated, end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in English and German, with willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
