Qualifikationen

• 6–8 Jahre Erfahrung in der SAP-Entwicklung (SAP BTP und/or SAP S/4HANA).
• Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit externen IT-Dienstleistern.
• Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und selbstständige Arbeitsweise.

Aufgaben

BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.

As SAP Development Lead (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical coordination and alignment with all relevant stakeholders (SAP architects, service managers, in-house consultants, external service providers) and will ensure the on-time delivery and technical implementation of new functionalities and services within the SAP environment.

Your Tasks:

• You will take responsibility for the technical design in SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA and manage external service providers to ensure high-quality development services and continuously professionalize the department
• You will define development guidelines based on SAP Clean Core principles, review service provider developments, and initiate targeted improvement measures
• You will evaluate solution approaches for necessary technical adjustments – from classic enhancements and ABAP Cloud to key-user extensibility and side-by-side extensions in BTP
• You will implement high-performance solutions using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), ABAP, and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) in S/4HANA and SAP BTP
• You will integrate solutions with SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Ariba, SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite)
• You will develop modern frontend applications with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, HTML5, or frameworks such as React
• You will actively utilize SAP BTP services such as:
• SAP Cloud Foundry
• SAP Build (Automation/Workzone)
• SAP Business Application Studio
• SAP HANA Cloud
• SAP Embedded Analytics

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• 6–8 years of experience in SAP development (SAP BTP and/or SAP S/4HANA)
• Experience working with or managing external IT service providers
• Strong knowledge in:
• ABAP / RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• SAP CAP Model
• SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements
• Node.js and/or Java (Spring Boot is a plus)
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Familiarity with authentication technologies (OAuth 2.0, SAML).
• Strong communication skills as well as a structured and self-reliant working style.
