What's the role?

Step into a key role where you lead the implementation of cutting-edge IT solutions within a dynamic, high-impact strategic program. You'll ensure the smooth operation of SAP S/4HANA and cloud platforms, while playing a central part in their modernization. Embracing Agile best practices, you’ll drive innovation, enable continuous delivery, and bring new technology initiatives to life—making a tangible impact on a global scale.

What does the role involve?

1. Take responsibility for full-stack SAP development
2. Continuously enhance components and the development toolchain according to SAP best practices.
3. Execute and participate in testing activities in collaboration with the team, e.g., QA or Business teams
4. Perform code quality checks and conduct code reviews.
5. Understand the Hilti system landscape, implement defined architectures, and contribute to improving existing solutions using SAP best practices.
6. Implement, assess, and manage Software Lifecycle Management and Continuous Integration tools.
7. Maintain SAP-related software by identifying and resolving root causes of defects, adapting to environmental changes, and implementing enhancements.
8. Translate software architecture into detailed design, code, unit and modular tests, and optimize performance using SAP ABAP, CDS, RAP, SAP Fiori Elements, SAP UI5, and ABAP OO (SAP Gateway, SAP ERP, etc.).

What you need is:

1. Completed master's degree in Computer Science or related field
2. At least 10 years of international software professional experience
3. Hands-on experience in S4HANA environment
4. Strong understanding of SAP modules, especially SD and integrated modules
5. Excellent communication skills, customer-oriented thinking, along with a strong drive for success and a high level of commitment
6. Very good ABAP skills: new ABAP syntax, integration methods, best practices, OOP, performance, debugging, clean code, enhancement framework, dialog programming model, OData Services (OData V2, OData V4)
7. Experience with Core Data Services (CDS) and Virtual Data Models (VDM), Restful Application Programming (RAP) model and SAP Fiori Elements
8. Understanding and interest for new SAP technologies (BTP, CAP, SAP UI5, SAP Public Cloud). Experience is a plus.
