ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an SAP Delivery Manager to join our EPAM team and engage in technology-driven activities. As an SAP Delivery Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a leading software engineering and IT consulting company. EPAM has maintained a close relationship with SAP for nearly thirty years, contributing to enterprise product releases and helping SAP bring products to market. We are now expanding our consulting services in Germany and seeking strong technical and functional consulting professionals to join us.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions.
• Establish a strategy for continuous delivery risk management to enable proactive decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure technical leadership in delivery, planning sound and future-proof architecture, and meeting quality standards.
• Communicate the business value of new SAP solutions to customers and demonstrate how design and architecture help achieve business goals.
• Manage customer expectations and relationships, addressing issues in collaboration with the Account Manager.
• Gather feedback from business users, identify system gaps, and lead implementation of enhancements.
• Prepare project estimations and develop project plans considering all variables.
• Ensure governance of delivery processes and production as per the delivery model.
• Act as the main point of responsibility for delivery matters to top management and clients, including escalations and upsells.
• Build delivery timelines for multiple streams, analyzing dependencies.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of SAP project methodologies (ASAP, SAP Activate).
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, with or without Focus Build.
• Understanding of SAP extension principles and options.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation approaches.
• Experience with Agile development and related methodologies.
• High-level understanding of SAP products such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP C/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP GRC, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Ariba.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with client interaction experience.
• Experience in governing project delivery across stakeholders.
• Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Ability to build effective client relationships and work effectively in dispersed teams.
• Advanced planning and management skills.
• Experience with onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP solutions and technologies.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum software development processes.
• Understanding of SAP CI/CD approach.
