Our team in Essen is seeking an SAP BTP Integration Consultant (m/f/d).

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in and drive the development, rollout, and operation of Brenntag’s global integration platform based on SAP Business Technology Platform.
2. Work closely with our business units, delivery teams, and external partners to provide tailored integration solutions for our global clients.
3. Consult and support internal and external partners on data and service integration challenges.
4. Design and develop specific integration solutions (e.g., data extraction, ingestion, and provisioning services).
5. Plan, drive, and support implementation and rollout projects.
6. Support SAP BTP app development initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Systems.
• At least five years of professional experience as a developer and consultant, preferably with a focus on process integration.
• Strong knowledge of interface designs, integration patterns, and cloud technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud SDK, Node.js/TypeScript, OData, IAM, OAuth, API Management, Kafka, Cloud Foundry, Azure DevOps, UI5).
• Strong object-oriented implementation skills in an agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and architecture competence.
• Experience managing complex technical environments (SAP and non-SAP is a plus).
• Good communication skills, intercultural awareness, and experience working in international projects.
