LeverX, a worldwide systems integrator, is looking for a skilled SAP BTP Automation Engineer with a passion for building enterprise business applications based on cutting-edge technologies and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services across global customer projects. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, a strong problem solver, and quick to learn. They must have solid technical abilities and experience in developing commercial applications with SAP BTP services. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of LeverX BTP engineers, experts and solution architects.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 - 3 years of experience in designing and developing SAP applications using SAP BTP or predecessors (SAP Cloud Platform).
• Experience in SAP Integration Suite including Cloud Integration, API Management and other integration capabilities (designing iFlows, establishing integration architecture and security mechanisms, customizing existing iFlows, adapters).
• Experience with any SAP Low-Code / No-Code solutions based on SAP Build: SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Work Zone (at least 1 from 3).
• Knowledge of BTP Services Identity Services, XSUAA, platform authorizations (role collections, roles, trusts).
• Expertise in integrating SAP and non-SAP solutions using various protocols and approaches (RESTful, OData, Event-driven).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education certificate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a part of a strong LeverX BTP Community including engineers, architects and solution experts.
• As SAP BTP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud enterprise solutions using a combination of SAP technologies and solutions in the areas of Automation and Integration.
• Work with functional analysts, architects to capture requirements, and collaborate with developers to design consumer-grade business applications.
• Be up to date with the latest SAP BTP features and services, participate in internal meetups and know-how sessions.
• Analyze and resolve significant, sophisticated, high-impact production problems, assessing alternatives as appropriate and implementing solutions.
• Balance multiple tasks and be flexible in switching between different tasks.
• Work with multi-regional teams across different time zones.

‘Nice to have’ skills

• Hands-On experience in various BTP Services.
• Knowledge in Back-End programming languages and runtimes.
• Understanding of Cloud Application Programming model (CAP).
• Experience on SAP HANA Cloud (HDI Containers, SQL, Stored Procedures, tables and calculation views design).
• Understand Micro-service Architecture, SAP Cloud Foundry features & capabilities.
• Experience with SAP AI Core and SAP Business AI services.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), GIT, and DevOps.
• 5 years of experience in software engineering using various technologies and platforms.
