As an SAP Application Consultant in Extended Warehouse Management, you will optimize and streamline warehouse operations by implementing and configuring SAP EWM solutions, ensuring efficient inventory management and improved operational efficiency. In this role, you will reduce operational costs and enhance productivity, thereby contributing to the company's competitive advantage and overall profitability.

Your responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business users and management, to understand and document requirements related to warehouse management processes.
2. System Implementation: Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions based on industry best practices and business needs. Configure SAP EWM settings, including storage types, bins, material master data, and relevant master data elements.
3. Integration: Work on integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and support integration with legacy applications to ensure seamless end-to-end business processes.
4. Customization: Customize SAP EWM functionalities to address specific business requirements and improve warehouse efficiency. Develop and implement enhancements, user exits, and other custom solutions as needed.
5. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of SAP EWM configurations and custom developments to ensure system functionality meets defined business requirements. Collaborate with end users during testing phases and address any issues or concerns.
6. Training and Documentation: Provide training to end users and support teams on SAP EWM processes and functionalities. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to SAP EWM configurations, processes, and custom developments. Stay informed about SAP EWM updates and new features. Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements within the warehouse management domain.
7. Support: Provide ongoing support for SAP EWM-related issues, incidents, and change requests. Work closely with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SAP Warehouse Management Consultant with in-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including MFS framework.
• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Extended Warehouse Management 9.x
• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse management processes.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM configuration and customization.
• Experience with SAP integration, including knowledge of interfaces with external systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Hands-on experience with any Issue Tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) and MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in English required; German is an advantage.
