About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior ABAP IS-U Developer with a strong focus on MAKO and Common Layer functionalities to join our remote team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust ABAP solutions within the SAP IS-U environment, playing a crucial role in our ongoing projects and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms within SAP IS-U.
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with MAKO (Market Communication) processes and functionality within SAP IS-U.
• Solid understanding and practical application of the Common Layer (CA-GTF-SC-CMN) for shared services and components.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of existing ABAP code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability.
• Contribute to solution design and architectural discussions.
• Provide technical support and resolve complex issues related to IS-U modules.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 5+ years of extensive experience as an ABAP Developer with a strong focus on SAP IS-U.
• Mandatory : Proven hands-on experience with MAKO (Market Communication) processes in IS-U.
• Mandatory : Strong understanding and practical experience with the Common Layer (CA-GTF-SC-CMN).
• Proficiency in various ABAP development techniques (ABAP Objects, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, User Exits, Smart Forms, ALV).
• Experience with IS-U specific modules (Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, FICA, Master Data).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, international team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
