Join our internal IT team leading the corporation into the next generation SAP ERP system: S/4HANA as a SAP ABAP + Fiori Developer Inhouse Consultant.

The S/4HANA Migration Project implementation started in January 2024.

• Implementation of innovative SAP ABAP + Fiori solutions in the SAP environment using new technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, and connecting cloud/multi-cloud applications.
• Creation of technical concepts and solution proposals considering user requirements and current technical trends.
• Handling interface programming (IDoc, BAPI, ALE, SOAP, REST) and maintaining interfaces to non-SAP systems.
• Participation in ensuring system operation within the global support team and optimizing existing applications.
• Analysis, conception, implementation, and testing of SAP development tasks in a hybrid SAP system landscape (SAP S/4HANA ERP, SAP GTS, SAP BW, SAP Frontend Gateway System, SAP HCM).
• Transforming customer programs into SAP Fiori-based solutions.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development with SAP ABAP in an international environment.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development with SAP Fiori.
• Profound knowledge in ABAP OO, ABAP for Hana, Core Data Services, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, OData.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Gateway, SAP Cloud Platform is advantageous.
• Understanding of SAP ECC environment.
• Ability to visualize complex issues and system landscapes.
• Strong social and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.

The position can be based in Germany (Ettlingen) or Porto, Portugal.
