SAP ABAP Developer (SAP PP) – German Speaking

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP ABAP Developer (SAP PP) – German Speaking.

Key Requirements:

- We’re seeking an experienced Senior ABAP Consultant with strong SAP PP expertise to lead a proof of-concept (PoC) and migration project from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA. This role is 90% remote, with occasional 10% travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute a PoC for migrating the SAP PP module.
- Implement code & customization using ABAP Clean Core practices.
- Migrate and reintegrate SAP PP standard processes.
- Support data migration planning and execution.
- Identify feasibility, risks, and effort for broader migration.
- Create blueprint documentation for migration procedures.

Must-Have Skills:

- ABAP & ABAP Clean Core.
- Deep knowledge of SAP PP and SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP Basis (org structures, customizing, etc.)
- Strategic IT architecture and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Independent and proactive work style.
- Fluent German.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- SAP SD / MM / WM / CO.
- Experience with data inconsistencies and customizing transfers.
- Agile / SAFe 6.0 experience.
- Audit-proof documentation, workshop prep & presentations.
