Job Description:

Our division “SAP Consulting & Engineering Services” is on a steep growth path and offers a wide range of interesting development perspectives. Our focus is on SAP conversion projects to SAP S/4HANA and the use of the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Therefore, we are looking for several senior developers / architects to strengthen our team "Technology Solutions SAP" in Germany, preferably at one of our locations in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Eschborn, Stuttgart or Munich.

Job Overview:

We are searching for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer / Architect experienced in contemporary ABAP Technologies and SAP Modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and testing custom applications in SAP S/4HANA and Cloud environments. This role requires a German speaking professional who can work onsite, independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP solutions in various SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HR).
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work on national and international projects together with our customers in various countries.
• Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows using ABAP.
• Create new and enhance existing applications to improve usability and performance, and provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards; participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, e.g., in Computer Science, or a similar education.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming.
• Good understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and HR.
• Proficiency in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Development Tools, ABAP Objects, ALV Reporting, Forms, Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with SAP Workflow and Web Dynpro.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in ABAP or related modules.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Key-User Extensibility Framework, CDS, Embedded Analytics, RAP and BTP.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Custom code migration to S/4HANA leveraging ABAP Test Cockpit and SAP Readiness Check.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Prior experience in a consulting environment.
