Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall solution: define the architecture based on customer requirements and represent it internally and externally – within Salesforce (Solution Architect) and in the overarching system landscape with all integrations (Technical Architect).
• Lead the solution process: guide requirements gathering, structure the solution path and ensure a clear decision-making basis for teams and stakeholders.
• Provide process- and technology-oriented advice: analyze existing structures, identify optimization potential in processes and recommend best practices and suitable technologies – in the Salesforce core (Solution Architect) or across the full technical architecture (Technical Architect).
• Validate and minimize risks: check solution concepts for feasibility and identify technical risks early – with a focus on data integrity and integration patterns for Technical Architects.
• Create clear architecture documentation: develop and document relevant solution artifacts understandable for business and technical teams.
• Design central components: define core components such as data models, interfaces, platform strategies or security architectures – depending on the role within Salesforce or across systems.
• Lead product selection and license strategy: evaluate technical options and make recommendations that fit requirements, budget and future plans.
• Support the implementation team as an expert: act as a contact person for all questions relating to the structure and implementation of the overall solution.

Qualifications

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution / Technical Architect (m / f / d) who enjoys designing complex IT solutions holistically, developing them technologically and providing strategic support – depending on the focus within Salesforce (Solution Architect) or across the entire system landscape (Technical Architect).

Ideally, you have the following

• Team culture: You are a team player and actively share your knowledge to continuously develop the team and yourself.
• Working style: You work in a structured, solution-oriented and professional manner. You approach projects independently, maintain an overview and quickly familiarize yourself with new systems.
• Qualifications: You have a degree in computer science (diploma / master's) or a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience in complex IT architecture projects.
• Salesforce project experience: You have at least five years of experience in IT projects – ideally in the Salesforce environment with a focus on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud – or in comparable complex system landscapes.
• Cloud technologies: You have substantial experience with modern cloud technologies and architectures and can design and integrate cloud-based solutions securely, scalably and efficiently.
• As a Technical Architect, you have (basic) knowledge of integration platforms such as MuleSoft and are motivated to expand your knowledge.
• Focus depending on role: Solution Architect focuses on Salesforce configuration, automations, multi-component solutions and user experience; Technical Architect focuses on integrations, data flows, security, code quality and DevOps processes across all systems.
• Languages: You communicate business-fluent German and English.
• Residence: Your place of residence is in Germany to ensure smooth cooperation within the team.
