Your Scope

As a Sales Support Officer, you will be part of the Ardo Group Sales Support Team, which manages a global customer portfolio within the food industry, retail, and foodservice markets. This team operates as a separate branch within the Customer Excellence Team.

Your role involves being the central contact point for sales managers, customer service, and customers regarding product support, contract and forecast follow-up, SLA monitoring, etc. You will serve as the customer's point of contact for commercial inquiries in the sales manager's absence.

You will build strong business relationships, proactively monitor and enhance customer satisfaction, analyze market and customer data to identify opportunities, and communicate insights to sales managers to help develop business and account plans. You will interact regularly with customer service, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure proper follow-up and internal support for your customers.

You will join a growing team established to serve local and international customers with an expert approach. This evolution offers career development opportunities within Ardo. You will report to the Customer Excellence Team leader.

The scope of the role :
  1. Support account managers by managing and analyzing customer files, market data, and product portfolios; prepare for customer meetings.
  2. Monitor and follow up on tenders and quotations; manage customer questionnaires and sustainability reports in collaboration with account managers.
  3. Lead communication with customers regarding article forms, action proposals, sample shipments for new packaging, etc., collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sales processes.
  4. Provide periodic reports on turnover, assortment, profitability, and customized reports for internal and customer use.
  5. Manage pricing by preparing quotations for account managers and analyze promotional activities.
  6. Ensure accurate SLA follow-up for your customers.
  7. Coordinate item screenings and follow-up for packaging, article creation, first productions, and NPD samples, including the introduction of new products in collaboration with marketing, data management, and supply chain.
  8. Coordinate small customer projects and serve as the internal communicator for customer-related questions such as QA, data, and material statuses.

Your profile
  • Preferably hold a master’s degree.
  • Have 5 years of experience in a large, fast-moving company in customer service, inside sales, or sales support.
  • Excellent language skills are required: very good written and verbal German, good English, and an additional language is a plus, with a strong commercial flair.
  • Customer contact and service delivery are top priorities. A commercial, client-focused mindset is essential.
  • You enjoy networking and thinking on an international group level.
  • Proficient with new IT systems (preferably SAP) and Excel; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Proactive, with initiative to build customer relationships and maximize opportunities.
  • Eager to learn, develop, and adapt in an evolving business environment.
  • Flexible, able to multitask, and manage complexity effectively.
  • Solution and process-oriented, embracing change with a mindset of continuous improvement.
