Position: Sales Support Expert

Location: Initial on-site training in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, then fully remote

Salary: 55,000 - 70,000 EUR per year, depending on experience

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Sales Support Expert to join their European High-Performance Computing (HPC) sales and presales team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical and business-oriented mindset, who enjoys working in a structured environment and supporting sales processes. You will be supported with on-the-job training at the Leinfelden-Echterdingen site for approximately one year, after which full remote work is possible. Hybrid work (1-2 days remote per week) is an option during training.

Responsibilities

• Support the HPC sales and presales teams across Europe.
• Carry out project calculations with support from solution architects.
• Prepare offers and proposals in collaboration with Sales Managers.
• Document project status and progress.
• Act as a liaison between sales, supply chain management, and purchasing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Vocational qualification as a computer scientist with at least three years of experience, or a degree in business administration, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science.
• Strong understanding of commercial and business management processes.
• Knowledge of computer, network, and storage technology is an advantage.
• Strong customer and service orientation.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Visio is an advantage.
