We are looking for:

  • Process Sales Area Manager Germany (m/f/d)

The Process Sales Area Manager will develop our market share in Pharma and Biopharma industries by focusing on existing and new customers, building a pipeline of opportunities, and developing new business.

This role requires project management skills, business development capabilities, and a growth mindset. It reports directly to the Process Sales Manager.

Your main tasks include:

  • Developing pharma business in the territory: building a pipeline of opportunities with existing and new pharma customers to ensure market penetration.
  • Achieving sales growth targets in line with company policies.
  • Prospecting the market (focus on Pharma/Biopharma), collecting customer applications, and competitive information.
  • Monitoring the sales network, defining, and executing action plans.
  • Analyzing sales figures to forecast trends.
  • Increasing product penetration with existing customers/partners, following an 80/20 approach.
  • Building a pipeline of opportunities, understanding sales trends and potential.
  • Securing margins, defending our added value, and differentiators.
  • Applying the 'Sales Excellence' culture and our business model.
  • Utilizing CRM tools to support activities and gather market intelligence.
  • Participating in events, seminars, and workshops.
  • Planning and coordinating activities with the sales director, including planning, action, and review.
  • Preparing customer visits and proposals, including offers, samples, technical documents, and agreements.

Your profile:

Successfully completed studies in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology, with a commercial background.

Demonstrable knowledge of the laboratory/Pharma/Biopharma business, market dynamics, and trends.

Relevant sales experience with chemical and biochemical reagents.

Experience managing distribution networks and territory planning.

Willingness to travel and reside within the territory.

Fluent in English.

Strong goal orientation with an 80/20 mindset.

Ability to persuade and convince aligned with company strategies.

Understanding the financial impact of pricing, discounts, and rebates on margins.

Knowledge of analytical techniques relevant to pharmaceutical, food, clinical diagnostics, and environmental markets.
