We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Customer Success team and support our German-speaking travelers. The role is advertised in Cape Town, where many of our current team members are based – but we're open to candidates living elsewhere in South Africa or across the African continent.

This job is for someone who knows how to sell, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping people plan memorable trips. You’ll be expected to deliver results while making the process smooth and enjoyable for our travelers.

This is a fixed-term position to cover for a team member on maternity leave. You’ll play a key role in ensuring continuity for our customers during their absence. Depending on future needs and mutual fit, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract beyond the initial period.

On a daily basis, you will

  • Respond to travel inquiries and guide customers through the booking process.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Follow up with potential travelers quickly and thoroughly.
  • Use our tools and templates to create travel offers and handle requests efficiently.
  • Communicate with travelers by email and phone in a helpful and friendly manner.
  • Use AI tools to save time and improve how you work.
  • Share ideas and insights with the rest of the Customer Success team.
  • Stay informed about our destinations so you can answer questions confidently.

The basics you bring along

  • At least 3 years of sales experience with strong and proven results.
  • You enjoy helping people make decisions and are motivated by goals.
  • You stay calm and focused, even on busy days.
  • You use digital tools to work smarter, not harder – and are open to new ones.
  • You’re a team player and communicate clearly and respectfully.
  • You speak and write German fluently, and are confident in English as well.

You can impress us even more with

  • Experience in the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with digital tools like CRMs or booking platforms.
  • Experience working with different types of clients.
