Sales Specialist EMEA – Materials Science

The company is a manufacturer of Laboratory Automation systems for the Materials Science market; Catalysts, Polymers, Ceramics & Abrasives, Porous materials, Nanomaterials, and Biomaterials.

Due to company growth, they have a new headcount position for a Sales Specialist to cover EMEA.

The Position:

  • Proactively evaluate new business opportunities, generate and develop leads and focus on deal closing in order to achieve your ambitious sales goals.
  • Ensure high-speed market penetration for our innovative new products and solutions.
  • Implement a targeted and aggressive sales strategy matching the needs of your market to ensure sustainable growth for all our products and services.
  • Present company solutions at customer site, conferences and seminars.
  • Analyze lab R&D workflows and provide appropriate solutions in close co-operation with our outstanding workflow design team.
  • The position is located in the Basel area in Switzerland, with up to 40% travel time in EMEA.

The Requirements:

  • Educated with a Bachelors Degree in a Scientific or Engineering field: Materials Science, Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physics, Materials Engineering; or related field.
  • Sales experience in the materials science market; Catalysts, Polymers, Ceramics & Abrasives, Porous materials, Nanomaterials, and Biomaterials.
  • Proven sales track record – regularly exceeding annual quotas.
  • Highly self-driven, goal-oriented and market-focused personality.
