  • Acquire new customers and provide commercial and technical advice/support for existing customers (including travel)
  • Analyze markets to identify new trends and developments
  • Support technical product demonstrations to secure new projects
  • Develop solution-oriented coating systems in collaboration with potential customers and technical teams
  • Negotiate prices and contracts
  • Manage complaints in cooperation with internal departments
  • Manage customer relationships and projects using a CRM system
  • Hold a degree with a technical and/or commercial background (e.g., Industrial Engineering) or relevant training (e.g., paint technician with commercial experience)
  • Have several years of experience in sales of explainable products, ideally in the chemical industry
  • Be proficient in MS Office and CRM software
  • Be fluent in Flemish and Dutch; business proficiency in English; German and French skills are a plus
  • Possess high technical affinity and be solution- and result-oriented in representing customer needs
  • Show above-average commitment as an “entrepreneur within the company”
