Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new customers and provide commercial and technical advice/support to existing clients, including travel
  • Analyze markets to identify new trends and developments
  • Support technical product demonstrations to secure new projects
  • Develop solution-oriented coating systems in collaboration with potential customers and technical teams
  • Negotiate prices and contracts
  • Manage complaints collaboratively with internal departments
  • Maintain customer relationships and manage projects using a CRM system
Qualifications:
  • Degree with a technical and/or commercial background (e.g., Industrial Engineering) or relevant further training (e.g., paint technician with commercial experience)
  • Several years of sales experience, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Fluent in Flemish and Dutch, with business proficiency in English; German and French skills are a plus
  • Strong technical affinity and solution-oriented approach to customer needs
  • High level of commitment and entrepreneurial spirit within the company
