As a Sales Representative for Labfolder you will be integral in strengthening and expanding our position as a market leader in electronic lab notebooks across the global scientific and laboratory sectors. In this role youll identify and acquire new customers through consultative selling and ensure our solutions evolve to meet their changing needs.

As part of our young and dynamic team youll help shape the Labfolder Business Development & Sales team directly fueling our growth and driving forward the evolution of lab technology.

What youll do

Customer Enablement through Consultative Selling

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing including both individual sales and tender processes
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential customers across key segments in academic research and industry to build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships
  • Represent Labforward at trade shows industry conferences and startup events to network and generate qualified leads
  • Understand customer challenges in laboratory workflows and be a true product expert advising customers on how to implement an ELN and optimize usage of Labfolder based on their specific needs to fully exploit the value of our ELN
  • Customize proposals and pitch decks based on the unique needs of each customer
  • Deliver tailored engaging product demonstrationsboth remotely and on-sitethat showcase Labfolders capabilities as the optimal solution for scientific data management and collaboration
  • Internally you represent the interests of the customers ensuring their needs and feedback are reflected in our offerings
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless implementation of Labfolder and onboarding for new customers

From Insight to Impact : Driving Market Growth

  • Contribute to the business development strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product Development Marketing and Customer Success
  • Collect customer feedback and market insights to inform product enhancements and Labfolders USP positioning within the competitive landscape
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and refine materials that effectively communicate Labfolders value proposition
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize the sales process as well as to enhance the overall customer experience

  • General industry experience preferred (e.g. chemistry pharma device manufacturer)
  • Laboratory work / academic experience preferred (e.g. Bachelor or Master degree in Life Sciences / technical background)

Nice to have :

  • Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks (ELN) Laboratory information management systems (LIMS) laboratory execution systems (LES)
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Basic understanding of software architecture and APIs
  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales or related fields preferably within scientific or technical industries handling the entire sales cyclefrom lead generation through to contract closure
  • Experience in conducting in-person or online workshops
  • Familiarity with data management and compliance standards (e.g. FAIR ISO standards FDA CFR 21 Part 11)
  • Existing network within biotech R&D or academic sectors
  • German : Fluent to business fluent (C1)
  • English : Fluent to business fluent (C1)
  • Additional language skills that can help enter new markets
