A growing and nationally recognized leader within the Water, Industrial and Process markets.

Location

This role will be a hybrid working opportunity, based in Western Germany, ideally in Köln, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, or Gelsenkirchen – other locations can be considered.

The Role & Responsibilities

As the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for business development, sales, and customer account management activities.

You will focus on the successful development and sales activities across a broad portfolio of industries, particularly in heavy industry and water process chemical sectors, including water process chemicals, steel, and metalworking clients.

  1. Undertake business development activities across Western Germany, focusing on strategic initiatives.
  2. Leverage your experience in Western Germany, focusing on heavy industry and chemical sectors.
  3. Oversee the responsibilities of service engineers within the group.
  4. Propose sales pricing, analyze economic indicators, and assess potential industry competitors.
  5. Provide technical support and understanding to existing customers across various products and solutions.
  6. Conduct routine analysis and prepare service and annual reports.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to analyze and process data.
  8. Manage and maintain customer data and internal documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within heavy industry and water process chemical sectors, including water process chemicals, steel, and metalworking clients.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
