Role Summary
As the Project Manager Sales Operations, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the Sales team in achieving its strategic goals. This position is pivotal in ensuring that sales processes, tools, and initiatives are optimized to deliver maximum efficiency and effectiveness. You will lead cross-functional projects, streamline workflows, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and drive revenue growth.
This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of sales operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and manage cross-functional projects within the operational sales department, with a focus on go-to-market initiatives.
Oversee the integration and alignment of various transformation projects to ensure a cohesive approach and successful implementation.
Define project scopes, set timelines, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align project objectives with overall business strategies.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve project bottlenecks, and ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, roadmaps, and status reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Who You Are
Experience and Expertise
Proven experience in a project management or sales operations role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of sales processes, tools (e.g., CRM systems), and best practices.
Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects and driving operational improvements.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
