Jobbeschreibung

Travelzoo is seeking a Sales Manager [Travel] (m/w/d) to join our team in Munich or Berlin. In this role, you are responsible for expanding business in the Company’s current travel client portfolios (tour operators, travel agencies, airlines) as well as generating new business in the German market.

  • Motivated to develop successful advertising sales relationships within the German travel industry, both via telephone and in person
  • Keen to have a sales focus on airlines, cruise operators, tour operators or tourist boards
  • Driven to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals, through account development and new business
  • Able to consultatively sell Travelzoo’s suite of online media opportunities
  • Capable of evaluating campaign results and developing long-term, stable customer relations
  • Confident to work with colleagues globally to ensure that opportunities are fully leveraged and the very best content for our members is secured
  • Responsible to expand the internal network and closely cooperate with other departments
  • Empowered to represent Travelzoo at various industry events

You are ideally…

  • A professional with at least 2-3 years of relevant professional sales experience
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Skilled in planning, developing, and executing online sales strategies
  • Knowledgeable of the tourism industry or online media
  • An excellent organisational and interpersonal communicator with particular emphasis on presentation, sales expertise, and negotiation techniques
  • A professional with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as good target, solution, and customer orientation
  • An analytical thinker
  • Able to achieve results while working independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point)
  • Fluent in German and English
