In Leuna, we are looking for a motivated Sales Manager (m/w/d).

Your Responsibilities

Within the Engineering Materials organization, the CIG and E&E Market Department support company growth by providing specialty products for specific applications such as electrical, electronics, or industrial goods.

Reporting to the Head of Sales for CIG and E&E Markets, you will be responsible for developing specific countries, with key missions including:

  1. Defining and deploying commercial plans, programs, and activities:
    • Develop and execute account plans, including forecasting.
    • Coordinate orders to ensure a coherent market and customer offering.
    • Create accurate forecasts to support inventory management, financial performance, and customer service levels.
  2. Managing customers:
    • Maintain updated customer and competitor information within your assigned area and provide local marketing insights to the Sales Manager and Marketing team.
    • Develop and manage a customer portfolio in regions such as Scandinavia, Ireland & UK, East Europe, etc.
    • Lead contract negotiations and close deals (product selection, pricing, service).
    • Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
    • Expand the customer base in the region.
  3. Prospecting targets: Targets will be defined in collaboration with management.
  4. Managing pricing and contracts:
    • Proactively manage pricing strategies.
    • Oversee credit management and cash collection issues.
  5. Managing products and innovation.
