You will :

  • Manage a revenue stream of Hydraulic Technologies global brands - Power Team, Posilock, STONE and Boltng Systems.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

From a home office base, reporting directly to the EMEA Sales Manager, as the Account Manager for the Germanics (DACH), you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding influential relationships with channel partners to maximize sales coverage in their given territories. You will play an integral role in growing Hydraulic Technologies revenue and profits, by adding value to our channel partners and end user customers. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the territory in terms of customers, competitors, industries, and trends as they relate to our portfolio of hydraulic products. Your mission is to acquire new business opportunities at new and existing customers to meet aggressive growth plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong market and customer focus and be able to translate this into clear business strategies to generate growth.

More specifically, you will achieve annual and quarterly goals of order and revenue targets by:

  • Prioritizing time and attention on activities that generate the greatest growth.
  • Maximizing sales coverage based on market potential, industry segments, and channel partners.
  • Setting strategic sales plans to gain market share.
  • Holding channel partners accountable to deliver on commitments and grow partnerships.
  • Executing sales goals and plans within your designated territory.
  • Collaborating proactively with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs.
  • Representing the company at trade shows and professional activities.

Desired :

  • High technical understanding, ideally with a background in Mechanical Engineering or Fluid Power Technology.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic tools and bolting equipment.
  • Excellent English and German communication skills, both written and oral.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Technical sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, high-volume sectors.
  • Ability to provide channel partners with sales tools, marketing materials, and market intelligence.
  • Proven ability to influence channel partners for mutual success.
  • Track record in lead generation and new business development in the industry.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Polytechnic diploma or BA degree (preferred).

Other requirements :

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work from a home office environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (~40%) for business development, customer support, and market understanding, including some overnight stays.
