  • Manage a revenue stream of Hydraulic Technologies global brands - Power Team, Posilock, STONE, and Boltng Systems.
  • Work across a large array of target industries; our products are used in Construction, Heavy Industry, Mining, Industrial, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and others.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Based from a home office, reporting directly to the EMEA Sales Manager, as the Account Manager for the Germanics (DACH), you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with channel partners to maximize sales in your territories. Your role involves growing Hydraulic Technologies' revenue and profits by adding value to our channel partners and end users. You will need a comprehensive understanding of your territory, including customers, competitors, industries, and trends related to our hydraulic products. Your mission is to acquire new business opportunities to meet aggressive growth targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong market and customer focus, capable of translating this into effective business strategies for growth.

Specifically, you will achieve annual and quarterly order and revenue goals by:

  • Prioritizing activities that generate the greatest growth.
  • Maximizing sales coverage based on market size, industry segments, and channel partners.
  • Setting strategic sales plans to increase market share.
  • Holding channel partners accountable to commitments and growth.
  • Executing sales goals and plans within your territory.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Representing the company at trade shows and professional events.

Desired :

  • High technical understanding, ideally with a background in Mechanical Engineering or Fluid Power Technology.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic tools and bolting equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and oral.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Technical sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, or high-volume sectors.
  • Ability to provide channel partners with sales tools, marketing materials, and market intelligence.
  • Proven ability to influence channel partners for mutual success.
  • Experience in lead generation and new business development.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Polytechnic diploma or BA preferred.

Other requirements :

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work from a home office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (~40%) within the territory, including overnight stays.
