Did you know that industrial heat accounts for 40% of global emissions? At Kraftblock, we are revolutionizing how industries transition to renewable energy with our high-temperature thermal energy storage technology. We are now looking for a Sales Manager for Southern Europe, ideally based inSpain or Portugal, to accelerate our growth in key markets.
As a Sales Manager, you are a proactive sales professional with strong technical expertise and deep industry insight. You bring a solidengineering background and understand the challenges and requirements of large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Drive both inbound and outbound sales activities in Southern Europe
- Act as the primary contact for customers throughout the sales cycle
- Identify and develop new opportunities for our thermal battery in industries such as energy production, oil & gas, steel, food & beverage, and other heavy industries
- Represent Kraftblock at regional industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Lead customer interactions and design-in processes with support from our engineering team
- Understand the grid business potential for green energy solutions
- Maintain awareness of the regulatory landscape and subsidy mechanisms in your region
- Help shape our internationalization strategy in Europe, particularly in the Iberian Peninsula, France, and Italy
- Manage and achieve sales targets
- Participate in a comprehensive 6–8 week onboarding program at our headquarters in Sulzbach, Germany
- Visit our HQ regularly (at least twice a year)
What do you bring?
- You are a strategic thinker and natural relationship builder with a passion for technical innovation and sustainability. You bring:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or project development in one or more of the following industries: energy, climate tech, oil & gas, steel, food & beverage, or related heavy industries
- Strong understanding of EPC business models, industrial systems, and infrastructure projects
- An engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous exposure to renewable energy technologies and decarbonization solutions
- General understanding of electricity grids and their role in the energy transition
- Familiarity with subsidies, grant schemes, and regulatory frameworks relevant to energy and industrial sectors
- High level of initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a strong plus)
- Willingness to travel frequently within your region
- You are based in Spain or Portugal (mandatory)
