Position: Sales Manager (m/f/d) Animal Nutrition - DACH countries (South Germany, Switzerland, Austria)

Area: Sales, Customer Service & Origination

Your Challenge: ADM offers an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead our animal nutrition business in the DACH region. This key role focuses on expanding our footprint through a diverse product portfolio including Feed Additives, ingredients, and Premix. The position is based in Germany and reports to the Vice President Sales Europe in Switzerland.

  • Drive growth and maximize potential of our animal nutrition business in the DACH region.
  • Manage technical sales and key accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Understand and promote our product portfolio.
  • Create and implement sales plans and budgets aligned with market strategies.
  • Develop a 3-5 year business plan for the region.
  • Provide monthly sales reports, analytics, and insights; optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with product management and development to create customer solutions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer behaviors.
  • Support innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with technical support, logistics, marketing, and other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's & Master's degree in Agriculture, Agro Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Business.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B food, dairy, or ingredients sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Experience in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
  • Fluent in English and German.
