Ready to put Jonkman Coating on the map? As a Sales Manager, you will position Jonkman Coating as a strong commercial brand in the German market. How will you achieve commercial success? By expanding and strengthening our operations. In this role, you will establish a solid footprint and contribute to the growth of an innovative player in the coating industry – with high-end technology and prestigious clients. Will you join our team?

What does this role involve?

As Sales Manager Germany, you will continuously seek new business opportunities and focus on expanding our customer base in Germany. How? By actively exploring the market, responding to customer needs, and advising them on Jonkman Coating’s high-quality technologies, such as powder coating and pre-anodizing. With support from the team in Hengelo, you will develop a commercial plan to approach the market strategically.

In addition to acquisition, you will focus on relationship management. You will maintain long-term relationships, independently prepare quotations, and deliver persuasive presentations. You know exactly how to negotiate and close deals, always keeping both the customer’s needs and Jonkman Coating’s growth objectives in mind. Furthermore, you will represent the company at trade fairs and events, strengthening the brand’s presence.

  • You will be directly employed by Jonkman Coating in Germany under a German contract.
  • This is a full-time position (36 to 40 hours per week).
  • Competitive annual gross salary between €100,000 and €120,000 (based on 40 hours and depending on your experience and expertise).
  • Additional bonus potential of 20% to 25%.
  • Company car included.

What do you bring?

  • Extensive experience in an industrial B2B environment and a strong network.
  • German as a native language is a must; English proficiency is a plus.
  • A self-starting professional with initiative and perseverance. You also collaborate well within a team (not a ‘lone sales striker’) to maximize Jonkman Coating’s value chain.
  • Strong commercial and acquisition skills, with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • ‘Conceptual-selling’ skills, focusing on added value, differentiation, and aligning with customer levels.
