  • Leading the GER sales team to leverage Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score across Germany.
  • Developing national sales strategy and managing territory strategies.

Position Overview

We are seeking a strong and charismatic leader with a proven track record in leading oncology or specialty sales teams at a national level. Working closely with the DACH & NL Group Country Manager, Medical Affairs Director, and Associate Director of Access, the successful candidate will help improve the overall success of the leadership team and enable the team to overachieve sales and revenue targets.

Operational excellence is a key driver in our business. Close collaboration with the commercial operations team in Zug is essential for success.

This role will be based in South Germany, with regular travel to our office in Munich.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the GER sales team to leverage the Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score in breast centers and key accounts across Germany.
  • Developing a national sales strategy as a member of the DACH leadership team.
  • Implementing and optimizing KOL management and peer-to-peer education strategies.
  • Enhancing the existing account management system in collaboration with the sales excellence team in Zug and the DACH leadership team.
  • Managing territory strategies with specific goals, and optimizing the business review process with the Key Account Manager team.
  • Leading the Key Account Manager team to strengthen collaboration with national and regional Key Opinion Leaders, focusing on the implementation of company strategy and development of Excellence Centers within TOP accounts.
  • Building relationships with experts in Gynecological Oncology, Oncology, Pathology, Urology, etc., to support the company's strategic goals.
  • Demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities, including attracting and retaining top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, leading with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and setting a clear vision.
  • Supporting and guiding your team through delegation, performance assessment, and development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive pharmaceutical/diagnostics sales team management experience, preferably within oncology or specialty sectors.
  • Proven success in selling complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics.
  • Marketing or managed care experience is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Motivated coach with experience developing top-performing sales teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable in coaching and KOL management.
  • A life science degree or clinical experience is a plus.
  • Valid German driver’s license.
