We are hiring Sales Manager in Stuttgart who has extensive Freight Forwarding experience. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a Book Of Business within the Branch’s geographical reach by implementing the company’s commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage Book Of business ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin
  • Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
  • Assist clients in their day to day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing
  • Liaise with DP World’s internal Network and external partners in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance
  • Daily work on our CRM system in order to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be the base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme

Your key qualifications:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline
  • Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors
  • Fluent in English and German. Additional languages are an advantage
