Job Description:

Are you a Sales professional who puts customers at the heart of everything you do? Then this might be the right opportunity for you.

We are hiring Sales Manager in Munich who have extensive Freight Forwarding experience. In this role, you will be in charge of developing a Book Of Business within the Branch's geographical reach by implementing company’s commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth.

Tasks

How you will contribute:

  • Manage Book Of Business ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin
  • Liaise with Branch Operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
  • Assist clients in their day-to-day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations to ensure proper opportunity closing
  • Liaise with DP World’s internal network and external partners to guarantee the best possible service assistance
  • Maintain daily work on our CRM system to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity for the Field Sales Incentive Scheme
Requirements
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline
  • Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Ability to research, identify, grow, and close business opportunities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, other forwarders, and vendors
  • Fluent in English and German. Additional languages are an advantage
