We are hiring Sales Manager (f / m / d) in Hannover / Bremen who have extensive Freight Forwarding experience. In this role, you will be in charge of developing a Book Of Business within the Branch´s geographical reach by implementing company´s commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth.

How you will contribute :

  • Manage Book Of business ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin
  • Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
  • Assist clients in their day to day requests related to export / import quotations / negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing
  • Liaise with DP World´s internal Network and external partners in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance
  • Daily work on our CRM system in order to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline
  • Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors
  • Fluent in English and German. Additional languages are an advantage
