You are responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding existing customers in a defined sales area - with a focus on acquiring new customers in the pharma/healthcare segment
You will be responsible for the preparation, processing and coordination of offers and tenders in coordination with the respective specialist departments
Ensuring the documentation of all sales activities and business potential, progress and success in the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) is part of your area of responsibility
You will work together with your support functions and the operational units
You will also be responsible for representing the company at industry events, trade fairs and social media
You have successfully completed your commercial training, ideally in the field of forwarding/logistics and have a corresponding additional qualification or further training
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in field sales in the logistics industry
You have product and market knowledge in the air and sea freight sector, ideally in the pharma/healthcare segment
You are familiar with the market, competition and GDP
You are confident with the common MS Office applications and have experience with CRM systems
You are fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English
You work in a team-oriented yet independent manner with a very structured working style
Negotiating skills and persuasiveness with a high degree of customer and solution orientation are part of your personality
Good presentation skills combined with a confident and engaging manner round off your profile
