POSITION: Sales Manager, EU

REPORTING TO: Regional Sales Director

LOCATION: Europe

Position Summary

A leading semiconductor company is seeking a Europe Sales Manager to drive market expansion in the European automotive semiconductor industry. This role is essential in developing regional sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across key markets, including Germany, France, the UK, and other strategic regions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive semiconductor sales, experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs, and a deep understanding of Europe’s automotive electronics ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Expansion & Customer Engagement:
    • Drive sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the European automotive semiconductor market.
    • Develop strong relationships with Tier 1 automotive suppliers, OEMs, and distribution partners to expand market reach.
    • Engage in technical discussions with customers to understand application requirements and position semiconductor solutions effectively.
    • Provide strategic insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  2. Sales Execution & Revenue Growth:
    • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
    • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation and account management.
    • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product management, and operations) to align on sales priorities and customer requirements.
    • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and provide regular reports to regional leadership.
  3. Business Development & Partnerships:
    • Identify and establish partnerships with key players in the automotive ecosystem, including distributors, Tier 1 suppliers, and automotive OEMs.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with headquarters in Shenzhen to support localized sales strategies and customer engagement.
Experience
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  1. 5+ years of experience in power semiconductor sales with a focus on automotive applications.
  2. Proven experience working with Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs in Europe.
  3. Familiarity with MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN, and intelligent power ICs.
  4. Prior experience in a fast-growing, dynamic business environment is preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Business, or a related field.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of automotive semiconductor applications and customer requirements.
  3. Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  4. Proficient in English and at least one other European language (German, French, or Spanish preferred).
  5. Strong ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives in a competitive market.
  6. Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, conferences, and business development activities.
